This is one of the most important workshops for any serious painter (oil, watercolor and acrylic media). Using just three colors, red, yellow, and blue (plus white), you will learn to mix all of the colors on the color wheel including greens, lavenders, & oranges as well as all of the earth colors: yellow ochre, burnt sienna, & burnt umber. Even an unlimited number of grays can be mixed. When you get comfortable with mixing you can additional colors to your palette.

All of the colors created from the three primary colors are related. You will be supplied with 11" x 14" canvas panels with an outline of the color wheel. You will mix in all of the colors and learn that you can mix hundreds of colors with this limited color palette. A limited palette, assures that you will get perfect color harmony in your work. NOTE: An 8 1/2" x 11" canvas panel with an outline of the color wheel will be supplied. Students will fill in the color and learn to mix over a hundred of colors
